Ottocast Launched the World’s First and Only Wireless Carplay Adatper with Screen-CP91

In Fall 2024 Hong Kong sourcing fair held by Global Sources, The renowned supplier in car electronics of aftermarket-OttoCast launched its also world’s first wireless carplay adapter with multi-functional screen.

Since Apple unveiled CarPlay function in 2015, many companies from car after-market electronics industry developed various accessories with wired or wireless carplay connection for taking advantage of this market opportunity, the product type includes in-dash, portable monitor and dongle, typically, the dongle serve as an adapter that convert original pre-installed wired carplay from in-dash screen to wireless connection to facilitate drive experiences, so the end user no need to plug the smart phone every time when they ignite the car.

In the almost same time of carplay launching, google’s androidauto also made its debut in March 2015, like it’s competitor, it also aim to more closely integrate smartphone functionalities with built-in infotainment system of vehicles, before long CarPlay accessories released to the market, many kinds of products features AndroidAuto were also launched, soon 2 in 1 model which include both functions ( aka CPAA) were developed and mass produced quickly.

Unlike other generic carplay wireless adapter, CP91 implements a small size 1.6” screen which could show “music album cover display” “digital car vent clock” and “personalized car photo frames”, in addition, it also add a touch of style and a refreshing scent with an in-car fragrance design (oceanic and citrusy style), through a simplified app named OttoPilot, end user could personalize screen display with photos from phone’s album, and allow to change the album cover with music playing, the package come along with an aircon mount for install it on air vent for the good view angle for operation.

For the time being this device only support CarPlay function, however, it is still an innovative stuff that stand out in current market where flood with a large number of lookalike products.
